MEET THE TEAM

Tracey Carter

What is a lesson you’ve learned in your time at Camelback?

“Everyone has a story.” This is a phrase we’re all introduced to as new members of the team. It means you never know what someone is going through, that no one is immune to hardships and tragedies in life, and that it’s important to treat everyone you meet with honor, dignity, and respect. It’s a privilege to be a part of the Talent team here, where we get to share that wisdom with our new Team Members.

What is a lesson you’ve learned in your time at Camelback?

I’ve learned that we must treat each other with honor, dignity, and respect, people are the most important part of the business, leadership is about care and that we need to pour into our team first.

What are you passionate about at work?

I love being able to encourage, empower and equip our Team Members in their journey at Camelback. I love encouraging their growth with care and communication, empowering them to make a positive impact on guest and fellow team members and equipping team members to create for moments for our guest.  They can change the world, starting at Camelback and 16th Street-treating all with honor, dignity, and respect.

What’s the best part of your day at Camelback?

The best part of my day at Camelback is our peak hours. It is very satisfying to have the opportunity to serve our guest with great service, quality food that is fast.  We don’t serve fast food, we serve food fast. All this is accomplished by the Team working together to make the customer happy.

What’s the best part of your day at Camelback?

The best part of my day at Camelback really depends on the day; but I love the camaraderie that comes from busier days. I really enjoy coming into the store on an expectedly busy day, lifting up the spirits of kitchen team members, and organizing everything. Seeing to it that the day unfolds as planned, and assisting where the team needs, is all worth it in the end because the team feels a sense of collective accomplishment.

I knew Phil from my time serving at his store as a Grand Opening trainer. I knew his passion for people and the growth of his leaders. I felt comfortable coming alongside him in his business as I work my way towards Chick-fil-A ownership.
